Returns Policy

1. All Sales Are Final

All purchases made through orcatechbio.com are final at the point of confirmed order acceptance. Orcatech Bio-Peptides does not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds as a standard course of business.

This policy exists for the following reasons, which are inherent to the nature of research-grade chemical compounds:

• Compound integrity: Once a sealed vial leaves our facility, we cannot verify that it has been stored under the correct conditions (dry, sealed) required to maintain analytical-grade purity. Returning and reselling a compound that may have been handled incorrectly would compromise our quality standards.
• Chain of custody: Research-grade compounds require documented chain of custody. Once delivered, a compound's chain of custody passes to the buyer and cannot be reliably re-established for resale purposes.
• Research-only use: Our products are sold exclusively for in vitro laboratory research. Once dispatched, they are intended to be used within a controlled laboratory setting, not returned through a general postal system.
• Regulatory compliance: The return and re-handling of research chemicals introduces compliance complexities that are not consistent with our obligations as a responsible supplier.

2. No Returns Policy

Orcatech Bio-Peptides does not accept the physical return of any compound or product for any reason. This policy applies without exception to the following circumstances, which are explicitly listed for the avoidance of doubt:

• Change of mind after purchase
• Ordering the wrong compound, quantity, or size
• Duplicate orders placed in error
• Regulatory restrictions, licensing issues, or import complications in the buyer’s jurisdiction that were not confirmed prior to ordering
• Changes in research protocol or project cancellation after dispatch
• Dissatisfaction with a product that meets its documented COA specifications
• Discovery that a compound is subject to regulatory control in the buyer’s jurisdiction

Under no circumstances should any Orcatech Bio-Peptides compound be returned by post, courier, or any other means without our explicit prior written authorization. Unsolicited returns will not be accepted and will be handled in accordance with applicable hazardous materials regulations at the sender’s expense and risk.

3. Pre-Purchase Review

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details carefully before completing checkout. This includes, without limitation:

• Confirming the correct compound name, catalog number, and variant
• Confirming the required quantity and vial size
• Confirming that the compound is legal to import and use in your jurisdiction
• Confirming that you have appropriate laboratory facilities and qualifications to receive and handle the compound
• Reviewing the product specifications and Certificate of Analysis where available prior to ordering

4. Fulfillment Errors

In the rare event that Orcatech Bio-Peptides dispatches an incorrect item as a result of an error on our part — for example, a different compound, catalog number, or size than what was ordered and confirmed — we will work with you to make it right.

To report a fulfillment error:

• Include your order number, the item received, and the item ordered
• Where possible, include a photograph of the vial label received

Upon verification of a fulfillment error on our part, we will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include dispatch of the correct item or, where this is not possible, a credit or refund to the original payment method at our discretion. Claims reported more than 48 hours after confirmed delivery will not be considered.

Please note: any resolution is contingent on our ability to independently verify the fulfillment error from our dispatch records and documentation. We retain records of all dispatched items, including photographs and batch documentation.

5. Lost Orders

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe indicated by your tracking information, please contact us within 7 calendar days of the expected delivery date. Include your order number and tracking number in your message.

Upon receipt of a timely lost order report, we will initiate a formal investigation with the carrier on your behalf and provide you with all relevant dispatch documentation. Where the carrier investigation confirms that a parcel has been lost in transit, we will work with you in good faith to identify an appropriate resolution.

Please note that risk of loss transfers to the buyer at the point of dispatch (see our Shipping Policy). Any resolution offered in connection with a lost parcel is provided as a goodwill gesture and does not constitute an admission of liability. Lost order claims submitted more than 7 days after the expected delivery date will not be eligible for investigation.

6. Our Commitment to Customers

While we cannot accept returns and maintain a firm all-sales-final policy for the reasons described above, we take every customer concern seriously and are committed to acting in good faith when legitimate issues arise.

We recognise that issues occasionally occur that are not within the control of either party, and we will always engage professionally and constructively when customers raise concerns through our official contact channels. Our policy positions described in this document are not intended to prevent us from working reasonably with customers experiencing genuine difficulties.

7. Buyer Responsibility

The buyer assumes full and sole responsibility for:

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations governing the procurement, importation, possession, and laboratory use of research chemical compounds prior to placing an order
• Verifying that specific compounds are legally permissible in their jurisdiction before ordering — regulatory restrictions in the buyer’s jurisdiction are not grounds for a refund or return
• Ensuring that adequate laboratory facilities, qualifications, and safety protocols are in place to receive, store, and use the ordered compounds appropriately
• All decisions made in connection with the use of purchased compounds for in vitro scientific research purposes

Orcatech Bio-Peptides accepts no responsibility for any consequences arising from the buyer’s failure to perform the due diligence described above prior to placing an order.

8. Terms of Service

All purchases from Orcatech Bio-Peptides are subject to our full Terms of Service, which govern the rights and obligations of both parties in connection with all transactions. This Returns Policy should be read as a supplement to, and not a replacement for, our Terms of Service.

In the event of any conflict or ambiguity between this Returns Policy and our Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to both documents in their entirety.

9. Research Use Notice

All products sold by Orcatech Bio-Peptides are strictly for in vitro laboratory and scientific research use only. They are not for human consumption, veterinary use, clinical application, or any purpose outside of qualified in vitro laboratory research conducted by trained personnel in licensed facilities. These products are not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

By accepting and retaining a delivered order, you reaffirm your binding commitment to use all received compounds solely for lawful in vitro scientific research in full compliance with our Terms of Service, Compliance Statement, and all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
